Restructured in 1991 by Carmen Guimarães and her husband Carlos Alberto, the winery of Quinta Villa Beatriz has nowadays all the equipment, technology and structures for the production of wines of high quality. It has received a mention for being a "row model winery" for its conditions and quality of production.

All the structures were adapted to the space which the parents of Francisco Antunes Guimarães built in 1898, the "Casa Nova" - an enormous farmhouse. The tasting room, the analysis room, the space of the vats in inox steel, and all the other spaces of the winery are now where once people and their farm animals used to live in the XIX century.

From 1991 onwards the wines Quinta Villa Beatriz and Terras de Lanhoso started to be sold to the public.
